So, as you can prob tell by this post I'm new to the whole Metro power thingy and I'm loving it! I just started driving in September when i turned 17 and about 4 weeks ago i had saved up enough pennies for my first car.

I had a nose at pinky/purple Rover Metro Rio! I was like wow! And loved it! (Yesh lol you can tell I'm a girl and of cors we go for the colour more than anything!)...but it was coverered in rust! I felt so sorry for the poor thing, the rust though was a real let down and I decided it was a no no.

After a long serach a few yes's and no's over other metros, I was really beginning to give up on my search, until i was so unaware what we were looking for in the first place, when I saw a bluey/greeny metro parked right at the back at this garage near by, that was my car, and still is!

For £390, i bought a metro with no radio! Ands that why it was so cheap lol. It had no rust (but im sure it would do underneith it somewhere?). I love it, I love it so much i don't want to get a better car next year. I'm planning on making this car my own personal car, by customising it myself and this is why i had a nose on the web, because i might need alot of help and advice! lol.

Picture removed, wouldn't load correctly. - Admin

Hello there and welcome to metropower Where abouts are you from as im sure theres plenty of people that will help you along with your car As for not having a radio, is there a gap in the dash with a few wires poking through? otherwise you may have to wire the radio in from scratch

Hey and welcome to Metro Power, go anywhere for a stereo fitting thats not Halfords sorry but they really are a bunch of clowns

Im sure if u ask in the ICE section of the forum someone can give u advice for what shops are the best in your area. Main places i think youll find rust will be fuel filler area, rear wheel arches and the floor in the front under the carpet .
